D/P Wi-Fi Battle: Marriland vs. Disfunction I AM NOT ACCEPTING CHALLENGES! ANY AND ALL CHALLENGES WILL BE IGNORED! For a change, I actually went out and challenged people. Three people, and that's it, just to test my skill level and hopefully rack up some losses. Disfunction (thecarious on YouTube) is the second of the challenged people, and this is our match. This doesn't mean that I'm accepting challenges again, nor am I challenging anyone else. I didn't do this for fun, I did it to shut a lot of you up in saying I'm the best player in the world or something. I AM NOT THE BEST PLAYER IN THE WORLD! Please... Go to Smogon or something if you want to see some really good players. I lack experience, particularly against anything non-standard. I'm not saying I'm BAD, but could you all please just look at me like a normal competitive player rather than claiming me to be a super-god when I'm not? Thanks. Since I only have 12 Pokemon to work worth - since it's not like I actually have time to raise any new Pokemon (yet alone keep pumping out videos and updates) - I was pretty limited in the selection I'd use for this battle. Ah, how I envy you youngins that get to spend all your days training teams rather than doing things like working a job and running a site. d: So I apologize if my team seems "stale." I just don't believe in PokeSav'ing. Too bad it means I can never have a truly fair fight, since every opponent knows exactly what I have while I am clueless about their team. Oh well. Anyway, I was very nervous about this fight, even from before I went into it. I know that Disfunction is a well-respected YouTube battler and I hope will show any doubters out there what a true battler is like. I know that I made a few mistakes here, but it's just so darn hard trying to figure out what he's going to do. I think my biggest mess-up was thinking his Lucario was an Endure + Reversal or Sash + Reversal getting set up to sweep my team, but it was a Special-based one that I could see. Very well played, Disfunction, and great fight! (: Oh yeah, and I'm the female Trainer because I have been the male Trainer on every single other playthrough, and I was sick being the scrawny toothpick of a boy the male Trainer is. d: (I don't know why I have to keep explaining this.) D/P Wi-Fi Battle: Marriland vs. Flashfox I AM NOT ACCEPTING CHALLENGES! ANY AND ALL CHALLENGES WILL BE IGNORED! For a change, I actually went out and challenged people. Three people, and that's it, just to test my skill level and hopefully rack up some losses. Flashfox is the third and final of these challenges, and I'm glad to have gotten a chance to battle him. Flashfox had plenty of style. I wasn't expecting a Hail-based team, and even if I did, it's not like I really had much that could counter it anyway. I wish I would have lead with Blissey for the T1 Stealth Rock like I was planning on (opted for the sure thing with Gyarados, although that didn't go so well). And I was REAAAAALLLLYY hoping that he didn't have an Electivire, but I guess I misplayed there and got greedy trying to get a free T-Wave off of something. DX Let this be a lesson that I am not the best, nor have I (as in, me personally) ever claimed to be. Hopefully this calms everyone down and shows 'ya that I'm just a normal battler that is trying to get some practice. d: Now I'm off to train a bunch of Pokemon to build a new team with! Lol out of the big 12 Pokemon I have trained (huge arsenal I know -_-), 4 of them are weak to Fighting, so I don't really get to switch them much. Anyway, I will not, under any circumstances, accept any battles with anyone over the DS or PBR until then. Period. Don't ask. Don't claim you fought me. It's not happening. D/P Wi-Fi Battle: Marriland vs. YukiJadenSurvives I AM NOT CURRENTLY ACCEPTING CHALLENGES! I'm very sorry, but after posting my friend code, it seemed like everyone in the world wanted to challenge me. I've probably gotten over 500 challenges in all, and I just don't have time for that right now. I'm only going to be honoring the challenges that I've already accepted for now. I will accept challenges in the future, but just not as of this video. I've seen YukiJadenSurvives around for quite some time. His name popped up back in the old D/P GameFAQs boards, when the games were only out in Japan. I was quite looking forward to fighting him, especially after watching some of his videos, which looked like good (and funny, when voice chat was on) fights. Phew, this battle sure gave me a run for my money! I am still stunned over the unbelievable amount of hax that Skarmory had. Crazy. Good job at trying to predict me, too. (Don't yell at him for using Earthquake against Skarmory, or the Outrage thing; he was anticipating me to switch.) It's really fun knowing that this video was covered from both sides, as we both record our battles! Haha! Great game, YukiJadenSurvives! This video is only part one of two, because even after speeding it up 4x and cutting some parts out (in the second half), it ended up being 15 minutes! Wow! But I think it was also very well played, on both parts. l e a v e1 was an awesome opponent that I didn't for a minute have to question if he knew what he was doing. It was fun being able to tango with him. (: Be sure to check out the second half of this video for the... rather interesting conclusion. Anyway, this is the second part of the battle I had against l e a v e1. It took so long. As for the rather... interesting ending... we had both agreed to it via PM'ing each other on my Forums. You can go ahead and say "YOU WERE GONNA LOSE" or "YOU COULDA BEAT HIM," but the point is, neither of us wanted to wait another hour just to find that out. Neither of us could see a clear victor, because it's not like I was just stalling all day with my Blissey; if I sent out either of the two dudes on my bench, it would have been a misplay. Period. It was a stalemate unless we ran each other out of PP. You are free to speculate the result had we continued, but please, don't give us a hard time about it. I wouldn't have even been able to record the end anyway due to my camera getting low on batteries.
