Variety [1925] Hard to find silent public domain classic which stars Emil Jannings, Lya De Putti, Warwick Ward and Maly Delschaft. Directed by E.A. DuPont. Cinematography by Karl Freund. Silent film with no accompanying soundtrack. The only print I have of this rare film is very weathered, and I decided not to attempt to restore it, other than to correct the projection speed. Title cards in Italian. Superb acting and cinematography elevate this simple tale of a fatal love triangle. I have always loved this film, and hope someone out there will enjoy my sharing it.
