Think Before you Speak: GLSEN (The Gay, Lesbian and ... The Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN) joined with The Advertising Council today to launch the first national multimedia public service advertising (PSA) campaign designed to address the use of anti-gay language among teens. The campaign launch coincides with the release of GLSEN's 2007 National School Climate Survey, which found that nearly nine in ten lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) teens report having been verbally harassed in the past school year, and almost half have been physically harassed because of their sexual orientation. Day of Truth (Anti-gay Community) Anti GLSEN Slavic protest On March 6th, 2006 hundreds of Slavic Christians from Sacramento protested the pro-Sodomite "Queer Youth Advocacy Day" at the Capitol. Governor Schwarzenegger vetoed the bill later on in the year. The video was also taking place, while the gay parade in Sacramento was going on, and the Christians were there to protest. There was also short version of a clip of where student's are sitting in the San Juan High School library. Students came to school wearing T-shirts that had Bible Verses on them (1 Corinthians, 6:9-10) on the Day of Truth. They basically had Bible verses on them that clearly state that homosexuality is sin. They were asked to remove there shirts or face disciplinary action.
