Isihia - 02 - Gospodi vozvah A slideshow video, presenting the second track Gospodi Vozvah (Lord, I called Thee) from Isihia's 2001 "Isihia" album. The magic of their music is indeed worth sharing with the whole world! --- Isihia (Bulgarian: Исихия, "hesychia", coming from the Greek word "ἡσυχία" and meaning "stillness, rest, quiet, silence") is a Bulgarian music band founded in 2000, the style of which unites elements of Bulgarian folklore and Hesychast Christian chant of the 14th century to create an atmosphere of Balkan spiritual mysticism. Many of the group's songs cover topics of the medieval history of Bulgaria, mostly the period of the Ottoman invasion of the Balkans and the attempts on its repulsion and the early Ottoman rule of Bulgaria, i.e. the 14th-15th century, but also other moments of hardship such as the tragic Battle of Klyuch of 1014. http://www.isihia.newobjects.com/ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Isihia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hesychasm P.S. Leoš Janáček - Mša Glagolskaja - Gospodi pomiluj From the original version of Leoš Janáček's Mša Glagolskaja - Gospodi pomiluj (Kyrie). During rehersals for the first performance the musicians had difficulty with the 5/4 rhythm in this movement and Janacek was forced to modify it to 4/4. The version published after his death was this simplified version. There are some also other major differences in the Veruju and Svet which have now been restored, making this fascinating work even more astounding. Gospodi Vozvakh Tebye Ulyshi Mya, Tone 4 Photos of the reconciliation service on 17 May 2007 between the Russian Orthodox Church at home and abroad are matched with a chant from the Vespers service. "Lord, I have cried unto Thee, Hear Me. Attend to the voice of my Supplication". I felt this text was most appropriate for photos from such a significant (and happy) occasion. Gospodi Credits to "Felix Maria Woschek and Friends" for the beautiful music; russian orhodox chanting ( "Gospodi pomilui" means "O Lord, have merci") in combination with sufi music rhythm. Thanks to Nassim Haramein, too, for his inspirational research both on modern physics and sacred geometry. It gives an important insight into the nature of "reality" and inspired me to this video.
