I think that gives us more encouragement to strive forward with our music as well. Then you can come back and hear the differences in this video of what I changed.)or http://www.youtube.com/user/XLessons This is my DRSV "Direct Recorded Studio Version", The double time at 2:22 I like kicking in extra beats in the rhythm with the G#sus2. It enhances the rhythm and makes it sound like it keeps movin! 3:42 to 3:50 is also changed in the technique from the book. Its the same notes, just in a different postiton. This will also be in the lessons im doing. I also changed the main solo a little in the picking technique by seperating the notes while letting them ring giving it a more ditinct sound to it. Then I also changed the end solo part a bit at the end with the "Bended" note instead of the slides. If you listen to the end of the normal cd, you will hear Kirk Hammett is much lower in volume than I am, but from 4:12 to the end 4:25 is exactly by the book. I also couldnt do the acoustic part in the studio version of theres, that they actually have in the book, so I also accented that with the normal notes of the rhythm. If you listen you can hear the changes of my playing, including slight back slides, like the one at 1:49 But it is 98% of the original structures by the Metallica - Load - Guitar Book. _______________________________________ My video are for one simple thing. To listen to! If your here to compare mine to someone else or the cd version , your wasting your time. I change many things in my videos from one to another. Most songs I play are mostly by the book as it is, but I do change things in the songs even then! These are versions of what I like to share with other musicians, nothing more nothing less. People that are only here to try and prove themselves better than someone else? Well then you have a lot to learn about music and what its really about, because after 25 years of playing, music is not like that for me. I have nothing to prove to anyone but myself.
