Mike and the mechanics OVER MY SHOULDER (Paul Carrack) POPULAR VIDEO : Over my Shoulder.Vocals: Paul Carrack. Looking back over my shoulder I can see that look in your eye I never dreamed it could be over I never wanted to say goodbye Looking back over my shoulder With an aching deep in my heart I wish that we were starting over Oh instead of drifting so far apart Everybody told me you were leaving Funny I should be the last to know Baby please tell me that I'm dreaming I just never want to let you go Looking back over my shoulder I can see that look in your eye Turning my heart over and over I never wanted to say goodbye I don't mind everybody laughing But it's enough to make a grown man cry Cos I can feel you slipping through my fingers I don't even know the reason why Every day it's a losing battle Just to smile and hold my head up high Could it be that we belong together Baby won't you give me one more try One more try Looking back over my shoulder I can see that look in your eye I never dreamed it could be over I never wanted to say goodbye Looking back over my shoulder Oh with an aching feeling inside Cutting me up, deeper and deeper Fills me with a sadness that I can't hide Looking back over my shoulder I can see that look in your eye I never dreamed no no it could be over I never wanted to say goodbye Looking back over my shoulder I can see that look in your eye Tags: mike and the mechanics |

Quantum Mechanics for Dummies - Electrons Are Weird Clips from a BBC documentary explaining the arguments from the 1920's until now as to whether electrons are particles, waves or both. It outlines Einstein's distaste at Heisenberg's uncertainty principle and is a good starting point in realising that the universe is far, far stranger than can be imagined. 9/11 Debate: Loose Change vs. Popular Mechanics pt. 1 September 11, 2001 - five years after the attacks many people are asking questions about what happened on that day in New York, Washington and Pennsylvania. Websites, articles, books and documentaries have put forward a variety of alternate theories to the government's account of what happened. The most popular of these is a documentary called "Loose Change." Now, a book dealing with many of these theories has just been published by the magazine Popular Mechanics, it's called "Debunking 9/11 Myths: Why Conspiracy Theories Can't Stand Up to the Facts." In a Democracy Now! national broadcast exclusive, we host a debate between the filmmakers of Loose Change and the editors of Popular Mechanics on 9/11. Quantum Mechanics http://www.myspace.com/acorvettes The Danish physicist Niels Bohr, who worked in Rutherford's lab, was the first to describe orbits of fixed size and energy in which electrons are free to travel without losing energy and falling toward the nucleus. According to this model, published in 1913, electrons can only occupy or jump between fixed energy levels and cannot reside in between these levels. In addition, once in their "ground state," electrons maintain the energy they contain. This energy keeps them in perpetual motion, allowing them to resist the attractive force of the nucleus.
