Windows Movie Maker Tutorial ***EDIT*** Sorry if my replies to comments have been mean lately, I'm just tired of getting the same questions over and over and I don't feel like being nice. lol. SO sorry if I'm mean! Stop asking dumb questions. Please. If you don't know how to upload a video, you're dumb. If you can't figure out why it's not taking your video, make sure you actually saved the movie file, not just the project file. Go to file, save movie file, save to my computer, etc. Then after it saves it should upload. Any other dumb questions? I'm not answering any comments that show that you obviously didn't watch the video. So stop asking them. Thanks! Tags: windows movie maker tutorial maria slytherinrocksss |

Pokemon MS Paint and Windows Movie Maker Version The greatest Pokemon parody video out there! I got all sprites from The Spriters Resource and some music from vgmusic. Those were MIDI files, and since WMM doesn't take those files (darn you, Microsoft), I ended if using the sound recorder. I hope you enjoy. Windows Movie Maker vs. iMovie - showdown! There's a myth out there that Windows Movie Maker is the "same" is iMovie. It's often brought up when Mac users praise the iLife suite (which comes free with every Mac), in particular iMovie. Some Windows users will say, "But we've got Windows Movie Maker. That's just the same, right?" NO. It is not. Not even remotely. Windows Movie Maker is very limited compared to iMovie, in the way that it edits and exports video. It can export as WMV (different sizes) and one flavor of AVI. iMovie can export as AVI (XviD and several other codecs), MOV (many codecs—DV, H.264, Sorenson, etc), MP4 (MPEG-4, H.264, etc) and more. iMovie's editing tools are far more sophisticated as well, as I hope this video will further demonstrate. Please note: I am not an expert on iMovie or WMM, just an average consumer. I'm not trying to cover every nuance here—just a few things that are important to me. I welcome rebuttals of this video, but if you're going to do it, please provide specific information and details on where I am wrong. I am here to learn, and if I have been mistaken in some of the information I present here, I would like to know. The site I link to at the end of the video is http://www.animemusicvideos.org They have free software, many tutorials and other information about anything video-related. Their tutorials are not only good for anime—anyone who wants to make the best quality video should read what they have to say! For a more in-depth review of iMovie vs. Movie Maker, read this: http://www.informit.com/articles/article.asp?p=408493 Windows Movie Maker 2 and iMovie 6 were the versions used in this video. Edited with Final Cut Pro. Music from the film "Extreme Prejudice," composed by Jerry Goldsmith. *** Yeah, I know this video is a little rough around the edges—that's what you get when you crank out something in the middle of the night! ;-) *** Tags: windows movie maker imovie mac pc os microsoft apple video editing |

How to use Windows Movie Maker This is just a brief little stint for all of those folks who want to make AMVs but have no idea how to use Windows Movie Maker. It's a short walkthrough of how I go through the process of putting together videos. Please note that this is just a video showing the mechanics of the program, not making a video from start to finish. To that end, I'd like to remind watchers to get brave. Experiment with it, find new and interesting combinations of song and footage or whatever you're trying to do. Enjoy it. Again, I'd like to mention that this is NOT for people who know how to use the program. This is for people who want to make a music video and don't know how to use Windows Movie Maker.
