Griffith (Aiptek A-HD :: Sample footage) You asked for it! Sample footage of the Aiptek A-HD High Definition 720p camcorder. The footage was taken at Griffith Observatory in Hollywood Los Angeles. The video camera runs off an SD memory card and for $150 it's a great all-use camera. The color and saturation levels are excellent despite it being a CMOS sensor instead of a CCD. I would recommend this camera to anyone both experienced and inexperienced. Review of Aiptek 720p A HD camcorder Ross I did a review of my camcorder for you. Maybe this camcorder would work out for you, or maybe it's just not your thing. But either way I am glad you are visiting my video! PROS: Runs on lith ion battery, can charge the battery through your USB port (also on the Aiptek site you can get a car charger for 10 dollars plus shipping) can hook it up to your tv, saves videos onto an SD standard sized card, true HD quality, can be used as an mp3 player, voice recorder ==== CONS: Some people don't like rechargeable batteries, HD means it's in widescreen format, saves in .MOV format and needs a converter to use in windows movie maker, the HD quality is so high it won't play smoothly in quicktime and w/ the software provided windows media player, need to spend extra money on an SD card to have enough space, I haven't figured out how to plug in the cables the right way to record off of tv yet!
