Emo Kids For everyone who likes to say, "emo isn't a person, its a music genre." What about the hundreds of kids who have posted "I'm emo." on here? Who is right, and who is wrong? To whom it may concern: -This video was conceived not to piss anyone off, but to actually try and get a good grade on an english class satire project in high school. For those who wonder why a satire project is needed for an english class, I would like to turn your attention to this: The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, by Mark Twain. It's a satire people. Now that you have some background on why this video exists on youtube, I will address some of the many common comments. (1) Comment: "You don't know anything about emo kids." Response: Perhaps you are right; perhaps I don't know anything about emo kids, but this is the generalization of emo kids, and this is what I worked with. (2) Comment: "Catch 22 isn't emo, they're ska!" Response: Thanks captain obvious. Generally emo kids wear tight black band t-shirts. This shirt was the last of that tour and it came in a size 's' for small. So C22 isn't emo, but it was a small black band t-shirt. (3) Comment: "Emo kids should all die!" Or anything else along those lines. Response: No, shut up. Thats just ignorant. (4) Comment: "OMGZ HOT TOPIC!" Response: Yes, my mall, just like yours has a Hot Topic. (5) Comment: "-someone telling me what I don't know about emo kids, and ends with...- emo kids don't cut themselves!" Response: I never once, not once in the whole seven minute long film say, or even imply that emo kids cut themselves. Am I the only one now with stereotypical views? (6) Comment[two for one]: "What was your grade?/what mall is this?" Responce: We got an A. The mall is the King of Prussia mall, wiki it if you're really that interested in it. (7) Comment: "Those emo boys are hot!" Implying those who made the movie are hot. Response: Thanks. (8): Comment: "I'm emo, and this is not funny!" Response: I think it is, once you look past the 'this is an emo kid' aspect and watch for the subtle details, you may laught. Ex: Nut-crunchingly-tight pants. The tighter your pants, the higher your status. Anyways, thats it for now. Take it for what it is please. Also, stop with the ignorant comments.
