Ulysses Walking robot race Ulysses takes on Tecumseh in the Technogames. This is final of the Internal Combustion Sprint event and both robots are battling for the gold medal. Man Vs Machine (RuBot II) Sean Connolly takes on RuBot II at the UK open Rubik's Championships 2006. The servos in RuBots head were malfunctioning so they were disconnected during this display. That's why the head's not moving. RuBot II did lose a few challenges on the day to some impressive speedcubists. RuBot - Rubik's Cube Soving Robot Prototype This is a video demo of the first prototype of RuBot. This is a Rubik's cube solving robot from Dublin, Ireland. You can just about make out the webcam on the left of the video. It really works and can solve the cube usually in about 20 moves and can take 15 minutes so just to make the video short, I didn't mix the cube too hard for this solve and omitted the scan sequence. The website is now defunct; I might put anotherone on if there is enough comments. I have just started the second prototype which will be pneumatically controlled rather than servos. RuBot II - The Rubik's cube solving robot. Read this before you comment! This is the new version of RuBot by Pete Redmond from Dublin, Ireland. It's very different to the prototype but it has to be the coolest looking robot solver ever. There are cameras in the eyes of the head that scan the cube before the pneumatic arms solve it. It usually solves the Cube in about 35 seconds (not including the scan) no matter how much it is mixed up. The solving algorithm is taken care of by Herbert Kociemba's Cube Explorer software and usually solves the cube in a maximum of about 20 moves. In this video, the cube wasn't mixed up too hard so RuBot was able to find the optimum solution. Thanks to all of those who think it is too good to be true. That is a real compliment! If you still don't believe it, Look at the other RuBot videos - they have better scrambles. Or better still, call in on one of RuBot's live demonstrations. Legend of Zelda Medley in String Quartet Form Arranged by Chad Schwartz For my Senior Cello Recital at James Madison University in March 2006, I decided that my recital needed something extra. This is the encore of my recital. If you can name all of the zelda themes used in this medley, you are as cool as me. Enjoy! for those wondering how i got the sheet music. i listened to the hyrule symphony mp3 and figured out all the parts from that and put it in finale. i then added two sections (dungeon from link 2 and zeldas lullaby) and changed around some other stuff (like adding the full version of the original). ***600,000 views! WOW!!!*** I just finished updating this medley (adding 3 more themes from WW and TP and fixing some small things) and am planning to have a video game concert in the fall showcasing the Zelda medley, the Final Fantasy medley, and one more I have yet to arrange. I am also now taking suggestions for a new video game medley. Let me know what you would like to hear! (For those wondering, I just FINISHED arranging a Final Fantasy medley!) **side note** i realize it's not completely in tune, we put it together at the last second... i actually didn't decide i was going to do it until the day of my recital.... although i must say, if i knew it was going to be this popular on youtube, i would've spent way more time on it to make sure it was perfect.
