Sony HDR-SR11 + HVL-IRM Nightshot & Supernighstot Quality Review (SHORT VERSION) Both indoors and outdoors short clips of various distances using a Sony Handycam HDR-SR1 with the HVL-IRM attached & toggled between lowest & highest setting ect. All footage was originally shot at the HDR-SR11's maximum quality setting (HD FS) 1920x1080i, 16,000kb/s variable 16:9, then compressed to 720x576p, 5030kb/s 16:19. Sony HDR-SR11 High Quality Test (HD FS 1920 x 1080) Video taken with a Sony HDR-SR11, on the highest quality setting possible (HD FS). The Specs for the original video are below. YouTube would not allow to upload the raw .M2t file or even a transcoded MPEG 2 file at 1920x1080, so the best I could in order to upload this video was - 1280 x 720p 16:9 16,000kbs variable. YouTube also adds its own compression, even in the 'Watch in High Quality' The raw file specifications for this video, when its transferred from the handycam to computer uncompressed are - H.264 Codec, Mt2 File, AVCHD - AVC Level 4, 24 Bits, 1920 x 1080i 25fps, 16:9, Variable Bit Rate (16000kb/s max), Upper Field First. Slow Motion test hdr-sr11 Testing the smooth slow effect on my Sony HDR-SR11. This video was made with Sony Vegas pro 8.0, 1920*1080 25p in FullHD, with a color correction, a light contrast increasing, and some gradient map in orange color. I used a free Divx 1080HD codec and chosed the best quality. I've noticed that without the effect (in real motion so)the video quality is far more better.
