Can't Have You {Nick Jonas Love Story} Chapter 24 *Nick's P.O.V* I was strumming my guitar when I heard Joe leave for Ashley's house. I looked down and sighed. This whole thing just sucked. Ashley suddenly decided to like me... and it wasn't going to work out. I hate my life. I heard someone walk up the stairs and soon Kevin appeared in my room. "So, how'd it go with Ash?" "Well... I told her... but I told her not to worry about it and pretty much told her to date... Joe..." "Well that's a start." "And she said she misses me." "Woah, now that's a twist." I saw him glance down at the guitar. "So when can I hear those songs?" "I guess now... I have 2." Kevin nodded and I played the first one. His face was speechless. "Wow... Nick, that was amazing. I wanna hear the other one now." I did as he asked and played it. I looked up at him and he was smiling. "I think you need to play those for Ashley." I looked up at him. "What? I can't play these for her, it'll mess up everything!" "Consider it." Kevin said getting up and then he left. I looked over and Ashley's room and saw her getting ready for the date. She looked gorgeous... her brunette hair flowing behind her... that beautiful black dress... everything about her was amazing. She walked to her bed and looked up at me. She put on a weak smile and closed her windows and shut the curtains. Ouch. "Days pass by, I wonder why you're not by my side. Here without you. Sleepless nights, I try and try, to figure out why. Here without you." [A.N. Putting the song quote here because it fits here] *Ashley's P.O.V* I was walking to my bed when I glanced up and saw Nick staring back at me. I missed him... but I didn't want him to get hurt if things got out of hand. I shut my windows and curtains and walked downstairs. Joe was waiting outside so I walked out to his car. He smiled when I got in the car. "So, where we going?" I asked him. "Dancing." I smiled as we drove to the club. Once we got there, I saw a huge line but Joe flashed two cards out. "What are these?" I said as he handed me one. "Passes to get in. I have connections." I smiled as we got out of the car and walked in, hand in hand. Once we got in, my jaw dropped. The place was huge. There was an entire top floor and the dance floor took up the entire bottom floor except for the bar. Joe looked over at me and smiled. "Wanna dance?" he asked. I nodded and we walked out to the floor. We started dancing and grinding on each other. My arms were around his neck and his hands found my butt after a while. I turned around and we kept dancing, but his arms were around my stomach now. We kept grinding on each other, very dirty I might add, but I was getting thirsty. I turned around and looked at him. "I'm gonna get something to drink!" I screamed over the music. Joe nodded and walked to a table. I got myself something to drink at the bar, being very careful it wasn't spiked, and walked back to the table. The whole time I was thinking about Nick and how hurt he would be if he saw us. I started feeling guilty... and soon I wasn't in the dancing mood. I sat down and Joe saw that I wasn't smiling. "Baby, why you look sad?" he asked. I shrugged and looked at him. "I guess I'm just tired." I said. He nodded and we started talking. I started loosening up and laughing but I still didn't feel like dancing. Soon it was 11 and I needed to get home. Joe drove me home and we were laughing the whole time. We walked up to my door and I faced him. "I had fun tonight." I told him. I gave him a quick kiss and went to walk inside but he pulled me back. "Hey Ash?" "Yeah?" Joe looked down then back up at me. "I... I love you." My jaw dropped. Did he just say that? My mind flooded back to Nick and I felt guilty again. I looked up at Joe. "I... I love you too." I managed to get out. Joe smiled and kissed me. He backed me up against the side of the house and we started kissing each other more and more. His tongue was pressing against my lips, begging for entrance. I let him in and he let mine in his mouth too. We were exploring each other's mouths and moving our hands around each others bodies. "I... love... you... so... much..." Joe said between kisses. "I... love you... too... Nick." I said. My eyes shot open as I said it and Joe pulled away. I WAS FREAKING JUMPING AROUND WHEN MEMPHIS SAVED DAN!! I couldn't scream though cause my mom was sleeping. OMG I'm so freaking happy right now :). AND! First day of school tomorrow.
