Bob Marley & The Wailers 'Could You Be Loved' Bob Marley 'Could You Be Loved' Could you be loved and be loved? Could you be loved and be loved? Don't let them fool ya, Or even try to school ya! Oh, no! We've got a mind of our own, So go to hell if what you're thinking is not right! Love would never leave us alone, A-yin the darkness there must come out to light. Could you be loved and be loved? Could you be loved, wo now! - and be loved? (The road of life is rocky and you may stumble too, So while you point your fingers someone else is judging you) Love your brotherman! (Could you be - could you be - could you be loved? Could you be - could you be loved? Could you be - could you be - could you be loved? Could you be - could you be loved?) Don't let them change ya, oh! - Or even rearrange ya! Oh, no! We've got a life to live. They say: only - only - only the fittest of the fittest shall survive - Stay alive! Eh! Could you be loved and be loved? Could you be loved, wo now! - and be loved? (You ain't gonna miss your water until your well runs dry; No matter how you treat him, the man will never be satisfied.) Say something! (Could you be - could you be - could you be loved? Could you be - could you be loved?) Say something! Say something! (Could you be - could you be - could you be loved?) Say something! (Could you be - could you be loved?) Say something! Say something! (Say something!) Say something! Say something! (Could you be loved?) Say something! Say something! Reggae, reggae! Say something! Rockers, rockers! Say something! Reggae, reggae! Say something! Rockers, rockers! Say something! (Could you be loved?) Say something! Uh! Say something! Come on! Say something! (Could you be - could you be - could you be loved?) Say something! (Could you be - could you be loved?) Say something! (Could you be - could you be - could you be loved?) Say something! (Could you be - could you be loved?) Tags: Bob Marley Roots Reggae |

Bob Marley, Peter Tosh and the Wailers "Rasta Man Chant" Singer, musician, composer, and rebel Peter Tosh cut a swathe through the Jamaican musical scene, both as a founding member of the Wailers and as a solo artist. He toured with the Rolling Stones and had an international hit with a duet with Mick Jagger, then toured again to equally rapturous world audiences as the headlining act. His words would cause an uproar at the One Peace concert, but then unlike fellow Wailer Bob Marley, Tosh always made his true feelings known. He was born Winston Hubert McIntosh on October 19, 1944, in the small rural village of Grange Hill, Jamaica. Like so many young island teens searching for a better life, he left home at 15 and headed for Kingston. Once there, he made his way to Joe Higgs' tenement yard, joining other aspiring youths eager for the vocal coaching lessons the singing star provided to local teens. Amongst these youthful wannabes were Bunny, Bob Marley, and the much younger Junior Braithwaite; the four, buttressed by backing vocalists Cherry Green and Beverley Kelso, joined forces initially as the Teenagers before eventually settling on the moniker the Wailers. For cleaner water: Support local and "I-Ganic" agriculture! (2:31) Produced, Edited, and Scored by David Whiteside. Filmed on The Wailers tour bus at Langerado 2008. Music by Dubconscious: http://www . myspace . com/dubconscious According to WikiPedia: "It has been stated that Aston was the 'leader' of the backing band and responsible for many, if not all bass lines on Bob Marley's greatest hits, as well as having been active in co-producing Marley's albums and responsible for most overall song arrangements. Aston started playing bass by creating a home bass from an upside down wash pan attached by fishing cord to a stick."
