Rock Band DIY Mesh Drums Mod Video to show off the DIY Mesh Head drums I finished this weekend. These are based off the design posted here. ( http://www.edrums.info/rock_band.htm ) The only changes I've made are to make the heads somewhat smaller so they fit on the stock Rock Band kit. I'm absolutely astonished at how sensitive and reliable these drums are. That said I'm also frustrated since after video review the errors in this song are entirely my own and cannot be blamed on the kit (noooo! my favorite excuse is gone! ;) ). On the upside however I'm getting higher scores with this kit then I've gotten before and this is one of them. I've also found that on songs I couldn't come close to even getting started in and failed at 25% or less before such like Kool Thing I can now complete or get very nearly there. These or the pre-built similar goodwoodmod 'stealth head' drums are definitely worth your time and/or money if your frustrated with the noise and responsiveness of your stock kit. Personally I think I'm going to build another set closer to the edrums.info design w/ a adjustable stand after seeing how well these worked out. :) Tags: Rock Band Mod Mesh Drums DIY Edrums

Chart has changed a lot since GH 80's Edition. 80's Editon was a cover with an extended solo. This is a master track. I like this version better. I have a real hard time w/ the sequence in the intro. I dunno what it is but my fingers refuse to match the pattern, though now watching it in playback it looks like I'm just trying to switch to the next fret sequence too fast.
