But just a short while ago I played with the song and changed the pitch so it sounded more manly. I thought it sounded fabulous! So I had to start working on the video right away! I believe this to be my best AMV to date. I had so much fun working on it that I just couldn't stop until it was finished. I was even thinking about working on it while I was at work, and that is when I came up with the idea for the 'muses' to be the bears. Hope you like lipsynching! Then I got stuck at a certain part and just stopped for a while. Then I just came upon it and did my best to finish it. Tell me what you think I know that its a bit different with the long interlude at the end, but that is what makes the song. Pale Cocoon is a short animated movie that is about 23 mins long. Elfen Lied was a personal favorite anime of mine the minute I started watching it. It had been a while since I had actually watched the whole series, so making the video got me infused with the anime again. Recently I heard Three Days Grace's song of "Pain" and thought it was wonderful. I could listen to it all the time as it was so emotional and so started my search for an appropriate anime to fuse together with it. I searched through my whole collection before choosing Elfen Lied, just to be sure, yet I am happy with the choice. And I hope you like it too! I had even created a version of this way back when in the old days of stripping other AMVs for footage. But then I figured out how to get perfect video from my DVDs and started anew. If you don't know Memories - Its a DVD set of 3 short stories created by three different anime masters though based on short stories that Katsuhiro Otomo wrote. Magnetic Rose was directed by Koji Morimoto. It about a group of space travelers following a distress signal. Two of the men go inside and they soon realize that there is no one there, yet something is lurking in the shadows. The memories of a opera star have taken over the ship and start to take over the two men as well. Anime: Kakurenbo Artist: Jamiroquai Song: Deeper Underground (Edited by Me) The short song of the children singing is from the "Escaflowne" Movie, it just fit so well! I have loved this short 22 min anime ever since I first saw it. Though it wasn't as scary as they advertise it to be. ANd in the effect that there was no real AMV made to this show, I had to do one. Thing was, its very hard to find a song that actually fits. Then I found Jamiroquai and it was golden. Song is edited a bit, took out a few lines as they reference guns and there are no guns in the anime :) Please Enjoy!
