Soy Bomb Michael Portnoy on Extra - Bob Dylan 1998 Grammys During Bob Dylan's performance of "Love Sick" at the 1998 Grammy Awards, Michael Portnoy was hired by the Grammys as a dancer. His role was to stand in the background with other dancers and bob his head to the music to "give Bob a good vibe." Rather than sticking to the plan in the middle of the performance Portnoy ripped off his shirt, moved next to Dylan, and started dancing and contorting spastically with the words "Soy Bomb" written boldly in black across his chest. Dylan glanced alarmedly at Portnoy, but carried on playing. Portnoy continued to dance for about 40 seconds, making odd grimaces, his eyes often closed as if in a trance, until security realized he wasn't part of the show and escorted him off-stage. Portnoy describes his performance as "Art of the Moron". Maureen O'Boyle was the current anchor of Extra at time of this airing. She is now leading anchor on WBTV in Charlotte, North Carolina. Fable by Gerald Slota - Tony Vincent & Ivy Nicholson Frank Black Nadine The Trailer for Fable by Gerald Slota. Movie summary: A bizarre phone call from his sister is the only thing that could drag Michael (Tony Vincent) back to the horrific memories that still permeate the home they shared with their overbearing and eccentric grandmother, played by former Andy Warhol superstar Ivy Nicholson. Fable is a surreal ride through the depths of the human psyche. The journey takes us through a childhood rich with fairytale play into an adulthood tainted with guilt, fear, sympathy, and unfathomable cruelty. When entwined in the twisted world of retribution, sometimes it's a good thing to run. Gerald Slota is an artist who splits his time between Paterson, New Jersey and Woodstock, New York.
