Prince of Weasels (no visual) Recorded this from the radio (4zzz) in 1986. I remember seeing them a few times in Brisbane the same year. Great band, very Ramones influenced. Can't find any info on them though. Anyone remember them...? Tags: 4zzz Brisbane 1986 Ramones Girlies Vampire Lovers Razar |

The Sound - I Can't Escape Myself Have always loved this song since buying the LP 28 years ago. There's no real clip for it but it definately deserves any exposure possible so I threw this together quickly. I'm no video director but it suits the mood, I think. You may hear little vinyl crackles but the Lp is getting on a bit. I love the lyrics, and it appears to me now that Adrian was really singing from the heart. I can't help but think that he was emotionally in turmoil even at this young age. RIP Adrian. Tags: The Sound Adrian Borland Chameleons Mark Burgess House of Love Comsat Angels |

Jona Lewie -You'll Always Find Me In The Kitchen At Parties Alternate TV appearance to TOTP's. Not sure what show this is, the writing in the background says 'TROS TOP 50' anybody know it? I think it's a Dutch show. Different back-up singers too. Nice outfit Jona! Tags: Jona Lewie new wave 1980 80's synth Dutch tv |

The Chameleons on 'Saturday Live' March 1985 (no visual) The Chameleons on Saturday Live radio show performing tracks (One Flesh/ Singing Rule Brittania) from their forth coming LP. Mystery Jets - You Can't Fool Me Dennis This was the clip and version we got in Oz. I actually prefer this version as it trims off the fat and holds it's momentum from beginning to end. Great song! Tags: mystery jets you can't fool me dennis |

Rockpile - Girls Talk Performed on Countdown 1979. Turn it up loud and see the band crack a few smiles as an enthusiastic group of girls at the front sing along, just not quite in tune. Priceless footage of a perfect pop song! Tags: Dave Edmunds Nick Lowe Girls Talk Countdown 1979 Elvis Costello |

The Sinceros - Take Me To Your Leader Rare clip from a forgotten band. This is from their first LP 'The Sound of Sunbathing' released in 1979. Interestingly, 3 members of this band were previously engaged as studio musicians for Lene Lovich. Sadly, vocalist Mark Kjeldsen is no longer with us. I am a big fan of Frank Black's 'Teenager Of The Year' album and for some reason this track, with it's good arrangement and quirky hooks is like a 1979 style version of a track on Frank's LP. Enjoy! Bits of Kids - Baby Baby Australian band. Released approximately 1987, I've gone blank! Does anybody remember exactly when it was released. This one reminds me a bit of the Dickies. A good song is a short song, and this packs a good punch in just over two minutes. Tags: Dickies Australian Punk Saints |

Bauhaus - Lagartija Nick Live on ORS 1981. Not the best picture quality, by the time I got a copy it was about a 5th generation version. Still worth a look!
