Nice Dream WATCH in High Quality Well, now time passed and now it seems Everybody's having them dreams. Everybody sees themselves walkin' around with no one else. Half of the people can be part right all of the time, Some of the people can be all right part of the time. But all the people can't be all right all the time I think Abraham Lincoln said that. "I'll let you be in my dreams if I can be in yours," I said that. -Bob Dylan Music is by Radiohead, Nice Dream and Death in Vegas, Scorpio Rising Tags: auto animation business communications humanities math media physical science social visual arts commercials entertainment news tv video game advertising art documentary experimental filmmaker reel short film |

HARD STOCKS, AND SILK STOCKINGS WATCH IN HIGH QUALITY I do in fact have a lot to say about many of the current issues plaguing our country. I just keep it to myself. The state of things are a bit hard to deal with sometimes, but that's why I always have my art to curl up in and am consequently able to tune out the noise. Some of the noise infiltrated my work this time around. I notice that a lot of people hate it when artists or actors have an opinion about who they are against and who they want to elect in this country. It's their country too. If they are right, then what's the problem? Politics is everybody's job! Not just the Congressmen, the Senators, and the Supreme Court. It is truly up to us to lead this country, and so therefore everyone's opinion is ultimately valid. Lobbyists and people who are in charge of PAC's are the last people I want to entrust to give me the nitty gritty on the White House. Soooo, this piece here, while it may incorporate Bernanke and Christopher Cox, is a mere reflection....and NOT a political statement. It is what you come away with, that is the STATEMENT. SURFACE CHARMS Watch in high quality Sometimes I get into a lost thought process, and have no idea what end or beginning it may entail. Such is life, I suppose. One thing is certain. I make sure there is absolute resonance before I reveal it to you. In this world there is no honest peace free from bitterness; pure and true peace, sweet Jesus, lies in Thee. Amidst punishment and torment lives the contented soul, chaste love its only hope. This world deceives the eye by surface charms, but is corroded within by hidden wounds. Let us flee him who smiles, shun him who follows us, for by skilfully displaying its pleasures, this world overwhelms us by deceit. The serpents hiss conceals its venom, as it uncoils itself among blossoms and beauty. But with a furtive touch of the lips, a man maddened by love will often kiss as if licking honey. Breathe In...and now Out Recently, I've noticed a lot of people asking me what the "point" was to my work. Quite simply, the things I do in my day to hour to minute non-routines are extremely productive, in the sense that I do most things with an aim for a certain resulting pleasure. I do have a day job, and I do still make plenty of time to construct and edit these pieces. I make them for myself. I enjoy watching them. By putting them on youtube, I am simply allowing others to enjoy them too. If one doesn't like them I would imagine that they wouldn't be so compelled to watch them, or even finish watching one for that matter. There is however SOMETHING that makes some of these people stick around, and even take a couple extra valuable minutes out their time to tell me that they just wasted their time. For that, I thank them for secretly enjoying these to the end. For those of you who stick around because you admittedly like these pieces, and then leave a constructive comment, I thank YOU even more....... Now, to get to my point...what is the point of these? I am creating a mood, a feeling. I have no interest in taking you by the hand and telling you what to see. I merely want to create a vessel for you to have your own vision. Sweet dreams! A Polished Discipline WATCH IN HIGH QUALITY You might be able to tell that I've been meditating a bit lately. I got a little obsessed with my re-exploration of Kurasawa in the midst of the media deluge of every spinster on the planet pointing out inconsistencies in everything. I see the world as a place that needs to be slowly mended back together. Grab a needle and thread, and let's unite. Hope you like it. I do. Your Hopes and Phone Number I have been in a calming state lately. I was noticing that there does seem to be a certain kind of nostalgic happiness that lies in things that existed before my time. When I pair them up with favorite things from the present and not too distant future, I become embraced in serenity. Designs in Graceful Curves **WATCH IN HIGH QUALITY** Who's gonna shake a corner of my mind today? What's in those dusty rooms, I fear for in every way But I will find, but I will find I have a love for all things beautiful and natural. Even in films (no matter how depressing they get), if they are true to in spirit and tap into the great unknown, the forces that be, the truth that we all fear, if they capture nature, love and life, then I am enthralled and moved, and often times made to FEEL happy. Sure there is a sadness out there that comes along with most truths, but in that sadness, there is an empowerment. I'm glad there are spiders (one of the original architects). I'm fascinated by monsters, but even more interesting is how the human race tries to control it all. Here is another readymade slice. Your interpretation is the only true thing about this piece. Thank you. I love you. A Quick Flash The very thought of putting my mental process out there for all to see isn't as hard as I originally imagined. It's so rewarding to find that you are out there thinking along the same lines, eating the same visual breakfast, and craving the same fulfillment. I get tired easily, so here is my closest thing to visual caffiene I can come up with, for now...... Here are some remnants from the past and present slopped into a cohesive hot mess of complete and total ORDER. I hope you like it. Nothing is random. Getting Head of Myself (In HD!!) Everything seemed to fall into it's rightful place as I sliced and diced my way through this behemoth. While it ended up being longer than all the rest, I feel as though this is one of the best. I feel I can rest for a while now. As you might feel tension throughout the beginning, there is a release triggered by shear pop......sugar and spices, if you will. Thank you for making it to the end......if you did. Love, Readymade PS I highly recommend watching this in high definition (hit the high quality button) I did after all spewnd the extra hour of uploading to give you that option. Music is by Johnny Greenwood (from the There Will Be Blood soundtrack) and the song is called Henry Plainview and M.I.A. doing some variation of her hit Paper Planes and and of course Radiohead. QUITE AROUSING with some fleshy, HOT, and indecent NOISE My libido got the best of me, but as you can see, I tried to fight it off. If you look through the cracks, you might find something. Otherwise, it may appear to be a snarled, dirty, hot and sweaty piece of pre-tension. I offer you no ass, only piece of mind. Don't get the wrong idea about me. I have no voids to be filled. There's an arrow coming out of my circle and not a cross. What you imagine is exactly that....a fantasy. Smokin'!!! I've been blocked lately. Whether it be the weather, or work, or a lack of real quality biting me and screaming for attention, I've been focused on creating only best for myself and for you. If mediocrity touches the surface, all is scrapped and I start anew. I found a rhythm at last, and so I'm back to the two-step. The meaning you derive is the correct one. I love you. HOT, SWEET, relaxing madness In my constant tenacious struggle to find pieces that speak to me, I am starting to realize that most of what is beautiful out there, is right in front of us. Here is an end to the struggle, and a release of tension, born into something new. The images acquired are from everywhere that one can collect, including a few I created. It's meant to be enjoyed, not to deconstruct. Meaning can not be derived from a frame by frame analysis. Ever seen how boring a Rembrandt is when you look at it through a microscope? You might find some old paint specks and some fiber from the canvas, interwoven together, but your real money shot can only be achieved from a distance. ROCK!! My last view of the world consisted of landscapes and open spaces...merely a vacation. Back to the nitty gritty. Back to mental smog and poetic traffic. At least I can find a decent tune to get me through it. Hope you enjoy my mood swing! Music is by Neutral Milk Hotel, King of Carrot Flowers part 1 Radiohead, Rabbit in Your Headlights (3D Reverse Light) White Stripes, There's No Home For You Here This film is dedicated to Bruce Connor. His gauzy assemblages of scraps salvaged from abandoned buildings, nylon stockings, doll parts, and other found materials gained him art-world attention, as did A Movie (1958), an avant-garde film that juxtaposed footage from B movies, newsreels, soft-core pornography, and other fragments, all set to a musical score. (In 1991, A Movie was selected for preservation by the United States National Film Registry at the Library of Congress.) Conner was active in the Bay Area's 1960s counterculture scene, designing light shows for Family Dog performances at the Avalon Ballroom, and in the '70s focused on drawing and photography. Art-world recognition resumed in the '80s and continued to the present: Conner was included in the 1997 Whitney Biennial, was the subject of a touring survey in 1999--2000, and is featured in the current Carnegie International. Connor, one of main influences, recently passed away from natural causes.
