If The US Catholic Bishops Were Allowed By Law To Endorse Presidential Candidates, They Would Not Endorse Obama Due To His Policies On 5 Non-Negotiable Issues That Are Intrinsically Evil Video The Catholic Vote - The 5 Non-Negotiable Issues / Video; courtesy of Catholic Answers Action. For more, please see http://www.caaction.com If The US Catholic Bishops Were Allowed By Law To Endorse Presidential Candidates, They Would Not Endorse Obama Since He Is At Odds With 5 Non-Negotiable Issues. As responsible Roman Catholic voters we must examine the important issues and see what Senator Barack Obama would do as President of the United States. For Roman Catholics, there are five non-negotiable issues. If a candidate supports any of these issues, you may not vote for them. These five current issues concern actions that are intrinsically evil and must never be promoted by the law. Intrinsically evil actions are those that fundamentally conflict with the moral law and can never be deliberately performed under any circumstances. It is a serious sin to deliberately endorse or promote any of these actions, and no candidate who really wants to advance the common good will support any action contrary to the non-negotiable principles involved in these issues. The issues are 1) abortion; 2) euthanasia; 3) embryonic stem cell research; 4) human cloning; and 5) homosexual marriage. Senator Barack Obama is at odds with just about every one of them. Senator Barack Obama is at odds with these key elements of The Roman Catholic Faith. No faithful Catholic in good conscience can vote or support this presidential candidate. The teachings of the Magisterium show why it would be gravely sinful to vote for him. The Church states that It is never licit to obey it, or to take part in a propaganda campaign in favor of such a law, or to vote for it. (Pope John Paul II, Evangelium vitae 73) Scriptures declare, You shall not murder. (Ex. 20:13). Scripture is clear that the unborn are humans. When Mary visited Elizabeth, who was pregnant with the unborn John the Baptist, Elizabeth declared: As soon as the sound of your greeting reached my ears, the baby in my womb leaped for joy. Senator Barack Obama is rated 100% from Nay-RAL, an abortion-on-demand defense group. They say, Senator Obama has a fully pro-choice record. He is rated 100% by Planned Parenthood, who is the largest abortion mill in the United States. He is rated 0% by the National Right to Life, indicating a pro-choice stance. He voted present on an Illinois partial-birth abortion ban, which is an equivalent to a no vote. He voted against an Illinois Induced Infant Liability Act. He supports artificial birth control. He supports Roe versus Wade. He voted no on defining an unborn baby as a child. He voted no on stopping minors crossing state lines for abortion. He voted no on notifying parents of minors who get out-of-state abortions. Twice, Obama voted against bills prohibiting tax funding of abortions. In February 2004, his wife, Michelle, sent out a fundraising letter, which actually stated her concern over the rise of conservatism in the Country, and that the so-called partial-birth abortion was a legitimate medical procedure that should be protected. In 2003, as chairman of the next Senate committee to which the Born Alive Infants Protection Act was sent, Obama prevented it from even getting a hearing. This act stated that all live-born babies were guaranteed the same constitutional right to equal protection, whether or not they were wanted. In 2007, Barack pledged that, in his first act as president, he will sign the Freedom of Choice Act, which would cancel every federal, state or local regulation or restriction on abortion. The National Organization for Women says it would abolish all restrictions on government funding of abortion. The Catholic Church states, Abortion and euthanasia are thus crimes which no human law can claim to legitimize. There is no obligation in conscience to obey such laws; instead there is a grave and clear obligation to oppose them by conscientious objection. Senator Barack Obama said that he thought that attempting to stop Terri Schiavos death was a mistake: I think professionally the biggest mistake that I made was when I first arrived in the Senate. There was a debate about Terri Schiavo, and a lot of us, including me, left the Senate with a bill that allowed Congress to intrude where it shouldnt have. The Catholic Church states, "Respect for the dignity of the human being excludes all experimental manipulation or exploitation of the human embryo. Recent scientific advances show that often medical treatments that researchers hope to develop from experimentation on embryonic stem cells can be developed by using adult stem cells instead. Adult stem cells can be obtained without doing harm to the adults from whom they come. Thus there is no valid medical argument in favor of using embryonic stem cells. John Paul II Would Not Vote For Barack Obama, So Why Should Roman Catholics? / The Catholic Vote Video And The Freedom Of Choice Act John Paul II Would Not Vote For Obama, So Why Should Roman Catholics? / The Catholic Vote Video And The Freedom Of Choice Act In the Encyclical, Evangelium Vitae, the Pope wrote the following: "In the case of an intrinsically unjust law, such as a law permitting abortion or euthanasia, it is therefore never licit to obey it, or to take part in a propaganda campaign in favor of such a law, or vote for it." Barack Obama has promised, if elected, to promote and sign legislation, which is called, "The Freedom of Choice Act", which would remove all existing local, state and federal legislation that restricts abortion, including partial-birth abortion. Hence, then according to the Encyclical, Evangelium Vitae, faithful Roman Catholics cannot enable Barack Obama to pass this legislation by casting their votes for him. Partial-Birth Abortion - Barack Obama Debate Comments / Partial Birth Abortion Ban Video Obama Partial Birth Abortion / His Televised Debate Comments Images and text courtesy of National Right to Life. Video clip courtesy of MSNBC. Published by rosaryfilms of Secret of the Rosary Films. The pictures in the video are not fiction. The partial birth abortion is not a rare procedure. It is, essentially, a variant of the even more common and equally gruesome Dilation and Evacuation (D&E) procedure. There are in fact absolutely no obstetrical situations encountered in this country which require a partially delivered human fetus to be destroyed to preserve the life or health of the mother (Dr. Pamela Smith, Senate Hearing Record, p.82: Partial Birth Abortion Ban Medical Testimony). People like Jill Stanek have exposed a practice, in which children marked for abortion are born alive and then killed. This is exactly where the logic of partial-birth abortion leads. On November 5, 2003, President George W. Bush signed into law the Partial-birth Abortion Ban Act of 2003. On April 18, 2007 the Supreme Court announced its decision to uphold the ban on partial-birth abortion. The procedure in question is properly called "partial-birth abortion" because, as even secular sources acknowledge, it requires the doctor to deliver the unborn child partially from the uterus, feet first, leaving the baby's head inside the womb. The doctor then uses scissors and a hollow needle to empty the skull of its contents. The unborn baby's head then collapses and the doctor removes the dead baby entirely from the mother's body. Given the nature of the procedure, the congressmen who drafted legislation to prohibit it, the "Partial-Birth Abortion Act of 1995", defined the procedure as follows: "an abortion in which the person performing the abortion partially vaginally delivers a living fetus before killing the fetus and completing the delivery". The doctors who perform this barbaric act and those who seek to justify it attempt to hide its nature by describing it euphemistically as "intact dilation and evacuation/extraction" or as "intrauterine cranial decompression. "Physicians Ad Hoc Coalition for Truth" (PHACT), a group of more than 300 medical specialists organized to counter the misinformation provided by the abortion industry of the United States, pointed out: "Partial-birth abortion is never medically necessary to protect the health of a woman or to protect her future fertility; in fact, the procedure can pose grave dangers to the woman". Many people argue that the anesthetics used in the process kill the baby, so death to the child is painless. However the American Society of Anesthesiologists testified to Congress that this is simply not true. On July 11, 1995, American Medical News (AMA's official journal) submitted the transcript of a tape-recorded interview with abortionist Dr. Martin Haskell to the House Judiciary Committee in which he admitted: "...the majority of fetuses aborted this way (partial birth abortion) are alive until the end of the procedure." As disturbing as this sounds, these are the facts. In this country medical doctors are partially delivering babies and then killing them. These babies are inches from being born. Many could be born and placed directly in the loving arms of childless couples for adoption. Instead, they are cruelly killed. The Silent Scream / High Resolution Full Complete Version Video on Abortion / Parts 1 2 3 4 5 (with permission from APF) / Pro-Life Anti-Abortion Educational Film The Silent Scream / High Resolution Full Version Video / Parts 1 2 3 4 5 (with permission from APF) Republished with Permission from Roy Tidwell of American Portrait Films as long as the following credits are shown: VHS/DVDs Available American Portrait Films Call 1-800-736-4567 www.amport.com This has been performed as asked. This video is perfectly legal. The Silent Scream - Abortion as Infanticide Dr. Bernard Nathanson's classic video that shocked the world. He explains the procedure of a suction abortion, followed by an actual first trimester abortion as seen through ultrasound. The viewer can see the child's pathetic attempts to escape the suction curette as her heart rate doubles, and a "silent scream" as her body is torn apart. A great tool to help people see why abortion is murder. The most important video on abortion ever made. This video changed opinion on abortion to many people. Introduction by Dr. Bernard Nathanson, host. Describes the technology of ultrasound and how, for the first time ever, we can actually see inside the womb. Dr. Nathanson further describes the ultrasound technique and shows examples of babies in the womb. Three-dimensional depiction of the developing fetus, from 4 weeks through 28 weeks. Display and usage of the abortionists' tools, plus video of an abortionist performing a suction abortion. Dr. Nathanson discusses the abortionist who agreed to allow this abortion to be filmed with ultrasound. The abortionist was quite skilled, having performed more than 10,000 abortions. We discover that the resulting ultrasound of his abortion so appalled him that he never again performed another abortion. The clip begins with an ultrasound of the fetus (girl) who is about to be aborted. The girl is moving in the womb; displays a heartbeat of 140 per minute; and is at times sucking her thumb. As the abortionist's suction tip begins to invade the womb, the child rears and moves violently in an attempt to avoid the instrument. Her mouth is visibly open in a "silent scream." The child's heart rate speeds up dramatically (to 200 beats per minute) as she senses aggression. She moves violently away in a pathetic attempt to escape the instrument. The abortionist's suction tip begins to rip the baby's limbs from its body, ultimately leaving only her head in the uterus (too large to be pulled from the uterus in one piece). The abortionist attempts to crush her head with his forceps, allowing it to be removed. In an effort to "dehumanize" the procedure, the abortionist and anesthesiologist refer to the baby's head as "number 1." The abortionist crushes "number 1" with the forceps and removes it from the uterus. Abortion statistics are revealed, as well as who benefits from the enormously lucrative industry that has developed. Clinics are now franchised, and there is ample evidence that many are controlled by organized crime. Women are victims, too. They haven't been told about the true nature of the unborn child or the facts about abortion procedures. Their wombs have been perforated, infected, destroyed, and sterilized. All as a result of an operation about which they they have had no true knowledge. Films like this must be made part of "informed consent." NARAL (National Abortion Rights Action League) and Planned Parenthood are accused of a conspiracy of silence, of keeping women in the dark about the reality of abortion. Finally, Dr. Nathanson discusses his credentials. He is a former abortionist, having been the director of the largest clinic in the Western world. A Catholic Cannot Vote For Obama / The Catholic Vote Video / The Freedom Of Choice Act A Catholic Cannot Vote For Obama. Barack Obama is the most anti-catholic, pro-abortion presidential candidate ever. And it is the Catholic vote that will determine this election. Yet, is Obama going to win the election because of Roman Catholics who vote contrary to Church teachings? In 2007, Barack pledged that, in his first act as president, he will sign the Freedom of Choice Act, which would cancel every federal, state or local regulation or restriction on abortion. For those Catholics who vote for Obama, they will be morally responsible for helping to pass the anti-life, pro-abortion legislation; and they will have to answer to their Maker for their crime in the next life. Bishop Vasa - Pro-Abortion Candidates are Disqualified From Consideration For Political Office By Faithful Catholics / The Catholic Vote Video Bishop Vasa: Abortion-On-Demand Candidates are "Disqualified" The question of whether Catholics may remain in good standing with the Church while voting for abortion-on-demand politicians like Barack Obama has been raised. Bishop Robert Vasa has said that an abortion-on-demand stance disqualifies candidates from consideration by faithful Catholics. With regards to the notion of proportionate reasons, Bishop Vasa states, "The conditions under which an individual may be able to vote for a pro-abortion candidate would apply only if all the candidates are equally pro-abortion." He also stated, "Abortion needs to be in our country a defining issue and we ought not be afraid to make it a defining issue because when we do that we will have an end of abortion in this country." The findings could explain in part the problems with thinking or remembering found in other studies of marijuana users, according to study authors Ronald Herning, PhD, and Jean Lud Cadet, MD, of the National Institute on Drug Abuse in Baltimore, Md. The study involved 54 marijuana users and 18 control subjects. The marijuana users volunteered to take part in a month-long inpatient program. The blood flow velocity in brain arteries was tested with transcranial Doppler sonography in all participants at the beginning of the study and again at the end of the month for the marijuana users. The blood flow velocity was significantly higher in the marijuana users than in the control subjects, both at the beginning of the study and after a month of abstinence from marijuana use. The marijuana users also had higher values on the pulsatility index (PI), which measures the amount of resistance to blood flow. This is thought to be due to narrowing of the blood vessels that occurs when the circulation system's ability to regulate itself is impaired. "The marijuana users had PI values that were somewhat higher than those of people with chronic high blood pressure and diabetes," Herning said. "However, their values were lower than those of people with dementia. This suggests that marijuana use leads to abnormalities in the small blood vessels in the brain, because similar PI values have been seen in other diseases that affect the small blood vessels." The PI values for light and moderate marijuana users improved over the month of abstinence. There was no improvement for heavy marijuana users. The light users smoked two to 15 joints per week. The moderate users smoked 17 to 70 joints per week, and the heavy users smoked 78 to 350 joints per week. Obama & The Genocide Of Americans / The Freedom of Choice Act / Video What if Obama Promised To Facilitate Killing 6 Million? What if Barack Obama proclaimed that, if he was elected, that during his first four years in office, that he would work very hard to pass legislation that would kill 6 million Jews, or kill 6 million homosexuals, or kill 6 million Blacks, or kill 6 million women, or kill 6 million senior citizens, or kill 6 million disabled people? Would you vote for him? To you, would there be more overriding important issues, like global warming, immigration, the economy, etc.? Would these others issues be more important to you than his promise to kill 6 million humans? And if you did vote for Obama -- and his promise to kill 6 million humans, would you not be a co-participant in the murder of 6 million humans? Or would you go ahead and vote for Obama anyway? The facts are, Barack Obama has promised to Planned Parenthood, that the first thing he would do as president, is to sign the freedom of choice act. This legislation would essentially remove all current restrictions on abortions, including the ban on partial-birth abortion. About 1.5 million unborn babies are killed each year in the United States through abortion. Over Obamas term, that would be 6 million unborn babies. Hence, Obama in reality has promised to promote and pass legislation that would allow the murder of about 6 million unborn American babies during his first term in office. And you who vote for him, would be responsible. Abortion is just another form of terrorism. Approximately 50 million human beings have been killed in the United States since Roe versus Wade permitted abortion throughout pregnancy. Children have been torn limb from limb by surgical forceps and killed with suction tubes not because of anything they did, but just because they existed. If abortion isnt a holocaust, we need to rewrite every dictionary. Periodically, protests arise when someone links the term holocaust to abortion. The National Director of the Anti-Defamation League, Abraham Foxman, finds former Governor Mike Huckabees reference to the holocaust of liberalized abortion to be offensive. He writes that the Holocaust was a unique tragedy in human history. With all due respect to Mr. Foxman and others who recoil at the use of the word holocaust to describe abortion, a clarification is in order. The term the Holocaust refers to the slaughter of six million Jews by Hitlers Germany. The proper noun attached to this horrific period, however, does not preempt the use of the word in its common meaning to describe the killing of a million Rwandans, over one million Armenians, or two million Cambodians; neither does it prevent its use in describing the killing of 50 million Americans. Abortion is a holocaust that has taken and continues to take more human lives than any holocaust in human history. We are deeply concerned at how easily so many people trivialize this slaughter of the unborn, especially since it hasnt yet stopped. All text and images from Fair Use. Obama And Infanticide - Part 2 - 23 Minutes / Documentary Video / The Evidence Against Obama / Illinois Senate Bills SB-1093, SB-1094, SB-1095 / Regular Session Illinois Senate Transcript With Commentary And Analysis Obama And Infanticide - Part 2 - 23 Minutes / Documentary Video / The Evidence Against Obama / SB-1093, SB-1094, SB-1095. Images, video clips and text either from Fair Use of the public domain. Produced by Secret of the Rosary Films. Part 3 currently in production. While Barack Obama was still a state senator in Illinois, in 2001 a bill was introduced in the state Senate that was closely patterned on the federal Born Alive Infants Protection Act, to govern constructions of state law. The proposed Illinois law required that life-sustaining treatment be given for a child in the event the child survived an abortion. The law had three parts divided into three bills. Senate Bill 1093 provided that no abortion procedure which had the reasonable likelihood of producing a live-born child should be undertaken unless a second doctor was present to provide medical treatment for the child. Senate Bill 1094 created a cause of action if a child was born alive after an abortion and the abortionist harmed or neglected the child or failed to provide life-sustaining medical treatment. Senate Bill 1095 provided a definition for a born alive infant. On March 30, 2001, these three bills were brought to the floor of the Illinois State Senate for discussion. The video contains the actual regular session Senate transcript: Obama Transcript: "Well, it turned out that during the testimony a number of members who are typically in favor of a womans right to choose an abortion were actually sympathetic to some of the concerns that you raised and that were raised by witnesses in the testimony. And there was some suggestion that we might be able to craft something that might meet constitutional muster with respect to caring for fetuses or children who were delivered in this fashion. Unfortunately, this bill goes a little bit further, and so I just want to suggest, not that I think itll make too much difference with respect to how we vote, that this is probably not going to survive constitutional scrutiny. Number one, whenever we define a previable fetus as a person that is protected by the equal protection clause or the other elements in the Constitution, what were really saying is, in fact, that they are persons that are entitled to the kinds of protections that would be provided to a child, a nine month old child that was delivered to term. That determination then, essentially, if it was accepted by a court, would forbid abortions to take place. I mean, it would essentially bar abortions, because the equal protection clause does not allow somebody to kill a child, and if this is a child, then this would be an anti-abortion statute. For that purpose, I think it would probably be found unconstitutional. The second reason that it would probably be found unconstitutional is that this essentially says that a doctor is required to provide treatment to a previable child, or fetus, however way you want to describe it. Viability is the line that has been drawn by the Supreme Court to determine whether or not an abortion can or cannot take place. And if were placing a burden on the doctor that says you have to keep alive even a previable child as long as possible and give them as much medical attention as as is necessary to try to keep that child alive, then were probably crossing the line in terms of unconstitutionality. Now, as I said before, this probably wont make any difference. I recall the last time we had a debate about abortion, we passed a bill out of here. I suggested to Members of the Judiciary Committee that it was unconstitutional and it would be struck down by the Seventh Circuit. It was. I recognize this is a passionate issue, and so I wont, as I said, belabor the point. I think its important to recognize though that this is an area where potentially we might have compromised and arrived at a bill that dealt with the narrow concerns about how a previable fetus or child was treated by a hospital. We decided not to do that. Were going much further than that in this bill. As a consequence, I think that we will probably end up in court once again, as we often do, on this issue. And as a consequence, I'll be voting Present."
