The FENNEK scout car of KMW Almost noiselessly and hardly visible in the dusky twilight, an armored scout car is advancing among dry shrubbery and sharp-edged rocks and boulders. It is moving towards a small village in a secluded area of Afghanistan. Perfectly concealed with their low silhouette, other vehicles of this reconnaissance unit are positioned behind a long, sweeping hill. The raised sensor head of the observation and reconnaissance assembly gives the crew unobstructed rearward vision. The successful message comes in by radio: No proceedings. The patrol unit withdraws. James Morrison • You gave me something The British singer/songwriter and says that his musical influences are Al Green, Otis Redding, Cat Stevens and the Kinks. His debut single "You Give Me Something" became a hit single around Europe and Japan. You Give Me Something Lyrics You only stay with me in the morning You only hold me when I sleep I was meant to tread the water But now I've gotten in too deep For every piece of me that wants you Another piece backs away You give me something That makes me scared alright This could be nothing But I'm willing to give it a try Please give me something Because someday I might know my heart You only waited up for hours Just to spend a little time alone with me And I can say I've never bought you flowers I can't work out what they mean I never thought that I'd love someone That was someone else's dream You give me something That makes me scared alright This could be nothing But I'm willing to give it a try Please give me something Because someday I might call you from my heart But it might be a second too late And the words that I could never say Are gonna come out anyway You give me something That makes me scared alright This could be nothing But I'm willing to give it a try Please give me something You give me something That makes me scared alright This could be nothing But I'm willing to give it a try Please give me something Because someday I might know my heart Know my heart, know my heart, know my heart James Morrison Lyrics Tags: james morrison lyrics songs melody |

The EFV (Expeditionary Fighting Vehicle) The General Dynamics Land Systems EFV is an amphibious armored tracked vehicle with an aluminum hull. The EFV has a crew of 3pax and can transport 17 Marines and their equipment. The aluminum hull has caused some controversy due to protection and flammability concerns. However, aluminum hulls have been used for decades in military ground vehicles and boats. The rear loading ramp is not able to open while the vehicle is afloat. This is also typical of other swimming military ground vehicles. For example, the M113 is another armored military ground vehicle the US currently is using that swims. It also has an aluminum hull, and its rear ramp cannot open while the vehicle is afloat. The engine is a custom MTU Friedrichshafen diesel (MT883) with two modes of operation; a high power mode for planing over the sea, and a low power mode for land travel. The hull has a hydraulically actuated bow flap to aid planing. Shrouded Honeywell waterjet propulsors are integrated into each side of the hull and hydraulically actuated chines cover the tracks while in seafaring mode. The Expeditionary Fighting Vehicle (EFV) is the newest USMC amphibious vehicle, intended for deployment in 2015. This vehicle is an amphibious armored personnel carrier; launched at sea, from an amphibious assault ship beyond the horizon, able to transport a full Marine rifle squad to shore. It will maneuver cross country with an agility and mobility equal to or greater than the M1 Abrams. The EFV is designed to replace the aging AAV, and is the Marine Corps' number one priority ground weapon system acquisition. The EFV has 3 times the speed in water and about twice the armor of the AAV, and superior firepower as well. Tags: marines navy vehicles military armored tracked marina amphibious anfibio vehiculo |

Sailing in the Costa del Sol, Spain Based in the port of Fuengirola, Dawn Approach is a traditional wooden sailing ship built in Scotland in 1921. She is a gaff-rigged ketch, 80 feet in length and approximately 100 tonnes in weight, a superb example from the halcyon days of sail. She fully complies with the MCA and European regulations, is meticulously maintained and beautifully appointed. Once on board you will find yourself in a unique world of gently curving beams, gleaming teak and polished brass. Suddenly you have a venue extraordinaire for those special business get-togethers, the conferences that mould futures or informal téte to tétes that thrive when total privacy is assured. If you prefer there is a simple three-hour cruise with sandwiches where you can relax and top up your suntan or help us look for the dolphins. A wonderful Sunset Cruise & BBQ is also catered for with tasty flame grilled meats and a delicious selection of salads. If you're looking for a relaxing evening on the water, the Dawn approach may be just the ticket. I found this yacht cruise online and was able to make reservations via e-mail without having to pay anything until we actually got there. The Dawn Approach is anchored at the port in Fuengirola.
