PCOS Awareness This is a video about PCOS that I made. I was diagnosed with PCOS after trying to get pregnant for about 5 years. I was on my period nonstop, gained weight I could not get off, and grew hair everywhere! I finally went to a doctor that knew what she was talking about. I has a Sonohistogram done and a uterine ultrasound which confimed that I have PCOS. They also found 2 polyps on my uterus wich was a result of leaving my PCOS untreated for so long. I had a Hysteroscopy surgery done to remove them and my thick lining and I am now on Metformin to keep things under control. I am proud to say that I have had normal periods this month since the surgery! Please spread the word on PCOS! There are so many people that are too afraid to go get checked out.
